LEONA LEWIS PUNCHED
A young man punched singer Leona Lewis in the head as she signed autographs and posed for photographs at a book signing session in central London on Wednesday, her spokesman said.
Stuart Bell said Lewis, 24, had been meeting members of the public at Waterstone's book store in Piccadilly in central London for about 90 minutes when a man from the line came up and hit her. He was immediately led away by security guards and later arrested by police.
Bell said Lewis, who was launching her new autobiography "Dreams," was shaken up by the incident and went to see a doctor as a precaution.
Lewis shot to fame after winning the "X Factor" reality show in 2006, and her powerful voice has led to comparisons with Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston
London's Metropolitan police said a 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault and is being held in custody.

MY INTERVIEW WITH DELERIOUS PRODUCTIONS
Delerious Productions is one of a select few of my favourite producers. His versatile style and feel good vibes set's him apart from the crowd. I caught up with him from the magicial medium that it is facebook !DJ Ethic: How would you say your musical sound differs from other producers currently in the music scene?
Delerious: Im always trying to make something fresh and new by mixing up diferent styles with my own new ideas
to make crazy melody lines with banging drumbeats. I aim to make the people sing along to the beat as
the song!
DJ:Can we be expecting an album or mixcd from you in the near future?
DP: Right Now im actually working on both! Ive been really enjoyin the funky house vibe recently and doing
quite alot of tracks, so i hooked up with dj reflex and done a mix cd all of my tunes featuring the likes of
Sweetness, Ruby, Pheobe a whole load exclusive instrumentals and more! Besides that ive been slowly working
on an album project called Musical Architecture thats going to feature a range of up and coming and established
Artists ive been working with. Im looking to get it completed mid 2010!
DJ: Your music consists of a variety of genres, which do you enjoy making most and why?
DP: Yeah i basically produce what i feel to be honest! Anything From grime to rnb and pop. Grime is what i originally
started off with so it gave a rough edge to my style!but in the recent years ive expanded realised that music is just
music, as long as its good and touches people!
Right now though im a big fan of the uk funky movement, its a nice positive vibe and it reminds me of the good old
garage days! Besides that im ive got another style that i enjoy making but your gonna hear that when the album drops..lol
DJ: How did you first get into what your doing now?
DP: Ive always loved creative things like music and art, i didnt actually learn how to play! i was just around my cousins
who actually showed me how music was made and once i got my hands on my first programme(fruity loops 4.0)
it was jus forward from there. Just loved creating new stuff and trying to basically tell stories with my beats.
DJ: You've had UK Artist Bashy feature on one of your productions, how did that come about and what other major artist's have you worked with?
DP: Yeah I had him feature on my track with Jade Smallz called 'I Found You'. Basically he heard the original and he
loved it so much that he jumped on it with a hot 16! i think this is how the scene should be with more people
working together and making good music that they actually like! Ive also worked with the likes of chipmunk, tinie tempah, ironik pmoney, Durrty Goods and quite a few others. Should hopefully have tunes with marvel crew, shea soul, L.A cartier and some new bits with Jade Smallz!
DJ: Is there anyone producer in particular that you feel you look upto and draw inspiration from ?
DP: In fact there's a few id have to say Timbaland and Darkchild done alot for the sound of music in the last decade. Beyond him theres the legend Quincy jones who built a big platform for music Producers with his hit albums with MJ! And from closer to my career i think Wiley and Davinche both were a great inspiration for me growing up
DJ: Do you have any another passions besides music ?
DP: I love anything doing anything to do with expressing yourself, im quite a sick artist!and i could have been a decent athlete but
i think music was just one of those hobbies that turned into something very serious for me!
DJ: What advice would you give to anybody that's looking to become succesful in the music industry?
DP: I would say just be yourself and make what makes you happy. The industry is not a smooth wave to ride but you just need to
keep puttin in the work and never give up because if you you beleive in yourself then others will soon beleive too and have no choice but to support you on your journey
DJ: What other projects have you got planned for the near future that we can look out for ?
DP: Right now just working on the mix cd and album but expect quite a few projects with other artists. Just Produced an album with
Sweetness and the single 'truthful' should be dropping soon with a video! Also watch out for another talented vocalist im working with called Enrico Delves and our first single 'Genuine Instinctis'.
DJ: What is your opinion on 'Grime' artists selling out for a commercial crowd?
DP: My view on this is strong, im trying to be appreciated all over the world at the end of the day! grime was a sound which helped
shape alot of the artists we see getting signed now, but i cant deny there are alot of issues with the scene and the way it works
which forced alot of the emcees to think outside of the 140 tempo box! At the end of the day the aim is to sell records and in grime not enough people are buying and supporting ino
DJ: Your currently at Uni....What one are you at and what are you studying ?
DP: Yeah im at kingston in my 3rd year of architecture! Still drawing and designing streets while making these beats! Its a tough balance but ive figured it out! Its good to have a long term back up sometimes so big up the people out there working or in education, keep it positive!
